Two for one special! [Dark & Yugi]

[With an arcade room in the Campus now, there's no way Yugi wouldn't be there. He's a little late, maybe, but he's definitely set up shop there for today, occasionally moving from game to game once he's finished playing the one he was at before.

Of course, being Yugi, there's no way he'd keep this all to himself, which means he and his other self are swapping control every so often, making finding either of them just a matter of waiting... or coming into the arcade at the right time.]

((OOC: Since I didn't want to make two posts but wanted to play them both, here's a choice for you! You can either specify which of the Yugis you want to meet (the normal one or his "other personality," Dark), or you can just leave it up to me to pick! Just remember that Dark... doesn't take kindly to people who try to actually hurt Yugi, or himself.))

[WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE?! First kidnapping and then magic and that billboard talking about the giant fire-breathing kaiju rooster and now split personalities?!]

You're... being serious, right?

Yeah. It's a ghost in the Ring he's wearing, but he can't get rid of it. Bakura -- the ghost -- he's not a good person, even though Ryou-kun is! He hurts Ryou-kun as much as he does everybody else...

[Yugi rubs his arm through the jacket absent-mindedly at that.]

[On the one hand, ghost. On the other hand, ghost bullying one of his friends - albeit a friend he's never met, but still-]

That bastard-!

Hoh? You called?

[Lounging in the doorway, the spirit smirks over at the two of them.]

Yugi-kun, it's not nice to spread rumors! Or at least if you're going to do it, close the door properly. The dead have pretty good ears, you know~.

Bakura!

[Oh shit what are you doing here. He thought he left you at the arcade!]

[He was just passing by, brah! Not like he expected to hear his name.]

Here's a tip! If you're going to talk behind someone's back, don't do it with the door open.

...I was just warning Jounouchi-kun about you!

[Because, as it's been said, you're a jerk!]

...heheh, that's right. You don't know about our history. And... neither does he, right?

I don't have any reason to hurt him. He's nothing to me at all. Not even on my radar.

Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!

Jounouchi-kun came from the same time I am. And I don't trust you!

[He's certain of both of those facts.]

When the hell did I ever claim I cared what you thought?

My point is simple. What's history to me is the future to you. I don't care about trash that can't even duel properly.

Jounouchi-kun isn't trash! He's my best friend, my real friend, and he's a better person than you!

[Did Bakura actually make him angry like this in the future? It's... a weird feeling, but it's twisting in the pit of his stomach.]

[Not even close. Uncomfortable, but hardly angry. Seeing Yugi mad like this is oddly fun.]

What? I gave you an out and you're not taking it. Either he's trash and thus beneath my attention or he's not and entirely worthy of it. There's no middle ground!

...

[Yeah, he's just dumbstruck by the sight of Yugi being this mad at someone.]

Jounouchi-kun isn't trash! The only person who is is.. YOU!

[And the moment that comes out of his mouth, Yugi claps his hands over it and his eyes widen, the anger fizzled out at the sudden horror of what he's said.]

...!

[...well now. This is a reaction he didn't expect.]

[His eyes narrow as if in anger and he meets Yugi's gaze with a cold one of his own...]

[...and laughs.]

Heheheh... HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!

[That laugh combined with the glare is enough to frighten Yugi, and he all but falls off the table as he tries to scramble back, his hand going to his arm again, clutching the scar that spirit left.]

...

[Whether it's shock, fear, or something else, Yugi doesn't seem to be able to make so much as a noise.]

Yugi!

[With a dramatic gesture, he points straight at him.]

You've got more of a spine than I gave you credit for! Maybe I made a mistake calling you calling weak before!

[He turns on his heel, starting to head out.]

You bastard-! Don't you dare treat Yugi like that!

[Getting his senses back at last, he hurls himself forward, and as Bakura turns - he slams his fist straight into his face.]
