[ Hey look, it's Snake! He's... smoking a pipe and... wearing medieval knight armor? There's a large red cape strapped to his shoulders, too. He looks like he just came from Medieval Times.

He is standing outside, the cold doesn't appear to be bothering him too much, the snow decorating his mustache nicely. Snake looks, as usual, very grumpy and hard to approach, but you can try to interact with him if you want? ]

[ ooc: hebi here with another snake. this one is from Saft's world. there is a big tl;dr background info thing in his journal, though i still need to work on changing names and stuff, so it's still a WIP! ]

[Please excuse the passing dragon girl, Snake. The last time she saw you, your wardrobe wasn't nearly as fancy as what you're wearing right now. You know, it's funny if she didn't know any better she could swear that armour was from--

Nah, that's impossible. How could have Snake got access to clothing from her world?

Saft however isn't dressed in her usual Dragonsbayne attire today, she's sporting a white shirt and some sweatpants, due to her slight paranoia that this annoying rash that's started flaring up on her skin could be due to something that might have contaminated her clothing.]

...Snake?

[ Hearing his codename, the old soldier turns his head over to look at her. He doesn't recognize her at all... but there is an interesting scent about her, even in this cold air he could smell it. She was a dragon. ]

What is it?

[ Dealing with kids wasn't his specialty, nor his interest, especially dragon hatchlings. It was his own bias that he preferred humans to dragons, after everything he'd been through. ]

That armour...

I've seen it about before, back home.

[But again, the question still remains - how did he get it?]

Well not that exact armour but still, Where'd you find it?

[ That was the easiest way to put it. That confirmed his suspicious about her, anyway. ]

That's not what I asked you!

Tell me where you got that armour!

[ He narrows his eyes, and they seem to change somewhat, looking slitted suddenly. ]

You can't smell it on me, dragon? [ He doesn't take well to being shouted at by hatchlings. ]

[Bakura just raises an eyebrow at the sight. Snake didn't seem the type who did anything interesting, and yet here he was, like this... What was going on here? Don't tell him this was Snake from old England or something. The Rose Duelists were enough of an oddity for that.]

[ Old, huh. Snake looked over at the boy; his scent was odd. Something about him wasn't right... He exhaled, blowing smoke from his nostrils before replacing the pipe in his mouth. ]

[ Ignoring the cosplay thing, since he has no idea what he's talking about. ]

[He laughs softly, amusement tilting his voice as he responds.]

Got a problem with the way you smell? Get over it.

[ Aaand another exhale, this time putting the pipe away. ] There's something not right about the way you smell. You're not human, are you? [ He couldn't be sure, humans didn't have that smell to them usually... ]

Me? Not at all. But it's a bit rude to comment on the way other people smell, you know.

When the hell did Snake learn to detect something like that? When did Snake forget that they'd met? The obvious answer was that this wasn't Snake. But-

The hell was going on here?! And how the hell did this guy detect that so fast-?!]

What the hell are you?! Nobody in this shithole's managed to figure that out so fast.

[ Snake's hand is on the hilt of his sword now, though he's not certain if he'll have to use it. There must be someone around here that looks like him that people are confusing him with... Couldn't be Serpent. Serpent was dead. ]

[She assumes he's using "our" in a broad term. While he may be able to catch her scent, she's not so practiced in using the heightened senses to do such a thing, so she can't tell anything off about him.]
