alright fine jeez he's alive again
[A while ago, Boone was shot. Not long after that, he died. End of story, right?]
[Yeah, no. After waking up in a bed in the infirmary, missing his weapons and feeling slow and sluggish, Boone has made it back into the hallway and is looking... lost. He's not supposed to be here. It was over for him- he felt himself slip away, and yet here he is... standing here as if nothing happened, vaguely aware that he's missing a huge chunk of time. He'd doubt that any of it ever happened in the first place, but he's seen the scar on his stomach.
He thinks back to the last thing he remembers- Elle by his side, trying desperately to save him. She'd been hysterical. All for him. Huh... it's a strange feeling. Someone giving a damn. He almost wishes she hadn't. She'd saved him a lot of pain with all the Stimpaks and Med-X she'd stuck him with, but in the end she'd had to watch him die. Just someone else who had to suffer because of him.]
[Walking feels odd after so long. He's acutely aware of the fact that he's unarmed, but he doesn't know if he can make himself care. What's the worst that can happen when you've already died? Goddamnit... he thought it was over. It was supposed to be his time. It hadn't been quick, and it had been at the hands of the Legion, but it was over. Now, he doesn't know what to do with himself. He could say he's pissed off but that wouldn't come close to how angry he is that he's walking around again. The only thing he feels he can do is make life hell for the people who killed him in the first place. Yeah... they weren't expecting him to come back from this, either. Sibyll showed him her true face because she thought he was a dead man, and Vulpes... that son of a bitch must have ordered her to follow him in the first place. If he didn't have a reason to hate the Legion before, he sure does now- and Vulpes just put himself at the top of Boone's shit list. First, though... he needs to get his weapons back, which means finding Elle. Christ, he hopes they haven't gotten to her, too.]
((haha... he was supposed to be dead for three days but it kind of didn't work out like that :| so uh, yeah. pissed off boone walking the hallways.))

He grabs Vulpes by the foot and drags him not-so-gently back out of the house, ignoring the way his head bumps onto the concrete as he steps out of the front door. Several people stare at them, with a few women gasping- he pays them no attention. They're not real. Once they get back out of the room, his clothes change back into his usual ones. He's glad for that... he isn't sure he wants to walk around here in a knitted sweater. Vulpes is back in his Legion gear, too- and his Ripper is lying beside him. Boone picks it up, and waits for Vulpes to come back around.]

Looking for something?
[Really, you are terrible at keeping this thing safe.]

...Hm.
[He isn't entirely sure what to do here. Perhaps he'll just wait for Boone to make a move.]

[He considers for a few moments, before turning and smashing the weapon against the wall repeatedly. You know what? He can break the goddamn thing. Watch Sibyll retrieve that.]

Asshole-
[Go figure, he finally wakes up and gets his ass kicked within an hour. He really could have used some hand to hand training.]
no subject
You shouldn't have done that.
[He shoves Boone harder up against the wall, slamming his wrist back against it in an attempt to make him drop the broken ripper.]
no subject
What, broke your toy? Too bad.
[No fixing it now. He can take some satisfaction from that even now- and he breathes out a quiet chuckle just to piss Vulpes off even more.]
no subject
I will have you bleeding at my feet, dog.
[The chuckle does rile him up further, and he decides to use Boone's tactic against him, slamming a knee into his midsection.]

I don't think so.
