The Campus

[In the post-apocalyptic United States, schools that still stand are are bombed out shells of buildings, just like most everything else. This school, however, appears to be perfectly intact. As an important officer of Caesar's Legion, Vulpes Inculta is often tasked with conducting raids on enemy villages to gather much needed supplies and, hopefully as a consequence, thin the profligate herds. This place looks like it will have a great deal of supplies, ripe for the taking.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way out once one makes it into the courtyard. Disturbed by this development (how will he report back to Caesar? Will he be considered disloyal?), Vulpes decides to set up camp somewhere safe until he can figure out what to do next.

After some searching, he finds a large gymnasium fully equipped with a pool, exercise machines, gymnastics equipment and miscellaneous items such as weights, jump ropes and boxing gloves. Impressed by all of this intact pre-war supplies, Vulpes gets right to moving all of the heavy equipment toward the bleachers, where he plans to construct a makeshift "fort". Whatever doesn't fit well, he works on destroying to make it fit.]
